This past year has changed the lives of almost everyone. Maybe you became ill, or had a family member get sick with Covid, or maybe you stayed healthy. Either way, your life has changed in the way things are done. Most retailers have new safety measure's in place that we are still getting used too.
One thing, I am sure no one thought possible before was the shortage of basic necessities' we faced. Those shortages left suppliers, and consumer's scrambling. This is one of the reasons the Farmers to Families program was established. It helped farms and local companies that could not get their perishable commodities out to stores fast enough with a way to get their goods to people in need, instead of just throwing things out.
All across America!

As of September 2020, more than 100 million food boxes had been distributed across the United States according to Sonny Perdue the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture at the time. This effort helped to support the American farmers and families most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. To learn more go to:

We hope as the program continues, we will be able to provide a resource to help you find the food distribution events nearest you. These events are currently going on biweekly in these Treasure Valley Communities; Nampa, Caldwell, Boise & Eagle, Idaho.
